With winter coming, it is pointless to say but your yard is going to die. Your grass will turn brown and all of your beautiful flowers and plants will disappear. If you have perennials, then you won’t have to worry so much about replacing them, but those annuals will need refreshed come spring. However, rather than just letting your yard go at the end of the season, there are some steps you can take to ensure your yard will look it’s best after the snow melts. And yes, this does mean more than just mowing and raking.
