Beekeeping can be difficult sometimes, so making any step of it easier is always good. The Flow Hive invention makes on part of the caretaking easier, which is the harvest. Instead of wearing the harvesting suit, pulling the frames out, shaking the bees off of the frames and then starting the harvest, this invention cuts down the process to as simple as getting honey from a tap.
It is a marvelous invention, no question. But I don’t know how well it works in the long run, would the wax clog the drain? How many times can you extract honey before a frame needs to be replaced? If you have tried this, please let us know about your experience on our facebook page.
The three videos below talk about this amazing invention. the second video is a neutral evaluation that I found very informative.
