Before I became a mother I may have scoffed at this article saying something like, “Come on, that’s just lazy parenting.” But now, I totally get it. My toddler has kept me awake every night for about 2-4 hours for the last month. This has been way worse than her infant stage. Not only does she keep me up at night, but she demands my attention 90% of her waking hours. (Anyone want to babysit??)

Anyhow, you can take this as tongue-in-cheek or actually play some of these games, which would absolutely work with slightly older children than my own. Check it out and smile:

      Lol. I love the one called ‘paleontologist’ where u lay on the sofa and the child uses a brush to slowly and careful under you a.k.a. the fossil! Hahaha
