If my mother read this article she would follow it up with a, “HMmph! Child’s play!” That woman was condition to see everything as dirty and to clean it all accordingly. Having the privilege of growing up in a family hospitality business employed me as a “chambermaid” from the time I was 12 years old, working under the iron hand of my mother’s keen cleaning-eye. Although I never got the OCD aspect of her fanatical ways, enough rubbed off that I at least KNOW what needs to be cleaned, even if I have yet to do it. I’m happy to be Type B!
