At the grocery store yesterday, a woman and I approached bundles of white birch outside the store, stacked near all of the Christmas trees. We both stared a the pile of lovely white wood for a moment before she said….”What do you do with them?” I dug through my mental catalog of DIY projects and could only come up with the tea light stump holders I posted a few days ago. But these were more branches than stumps. I don’t even think the diameter was thicker than that of a tea light.
