When you move onto a property that is fenced in by chain link, after you throw up in your mouth a little, you start to consider ways to remove, or cover or replace it. Pulling chain link out is no easy task. So we thought about building up a plank fence around it just so that the outside is appealing. And then training ivy to grow up the chain link on the inside. We have a bit of an ivy problem already on the property so this would require conscious maintenance of the ivy so it doesn’t get out of control, but that might be more enjoyable than yanking metal poles out of the ground. The following ideas are really just inspiration photos. There aren’t any tutorials. But you might just see something you haven’t seen before!
