Before I met my husband I was sort of a messy-car person. Messy, not dirty. My family has always had “wash the car” week, and we did ourselves, never at a car wash. (Come on, people, that costs like 8 bucks!). So when it was time to straighten up and clean my car, I got out the good vacuum, the Windex, and the Armorall and went to work. My husband? He was the kind of person who never even let his car get dirty in the first place. It was immaculate. And if dirt was tracked in and was visible on the floor mats, he would immediately pull into the vacuum lane at the gas station and clean that up!
Now that we have a toddler, well, let’s just say he gets a case of anxiety everytime he steps foot into our truck. I never thought it would be this way, either. She has made the back seat area a disaster, what with pieces of pretzels, Kind bar, popcorn kernels, ripped pages of books, crayons, and unidentifiable substances in every corner. And she does all this strapped in from her car seat. I will be taking heed of the article below and getting to work this week on making our auto squeaky clean again!
