Creating useful and beautiful home furniture is not only in vogue, but it’s smart and economical….particularly if you’re re-using your components. The copper piping rack above is probably pricier than what you can do with steel pipe, but it depends on your project and if you have to buy any new pipe. We made a toilet paper holder in a similar fashion as the towel rack pictured first in the link below, and it probably cost about $25 in pipe parts new. But, had we salvaged similar pieces, it may have cost next to nothing.
