I had one of these bad mothers on my counter for a solid five years and never used it once. The sheer size of this thing is intimidating enough but add to that the weight of it (about 30 lbs I’d guess), the endless attachments, and the idea of cleaning it when you’re finished. I simply have never felt compelled, even during my Christmas cookie-making marathons, to bust this baby out and brush the dust off. I eventually gave it to my brother. I don’t think they’ve used it yet either. But had I read this article before, I may have thought twice about giving this kitchen gem away.
