Some people find pulling weeds cathartic. I’m one of those people. As long as we’re talking about the little buggers that spring up in cracks, or poke through the mulch. I once wrangled with a grapevine so fierce I would spend HOURS a day during the growing season trying to pull the beast. They say only Round Up will kill a grapevine weed. But, there are some methods that Bob Vila tells us about that I think would have worked if I knew they existed….Like a weed torch? Who the heck knew about that contraption? If heaven forbid I am ever faced with that challenge again, that’s probably the route I would go. Here are 8 other ways you kill weeds without running to the garden center!

I love how people think vinegar is not a “chemical” . It is , acetic acid
Note: vinegar can be more harmful than round up as it kill soil microbes and other soil zoology .
Educate yourselves and stop buying into old wives tales . Some herbicide chemicals are more effective and safer than household items that are still chemicals .
But vinegar does not have glyphosate in it which is linked to autism, Pierce! There’s not many microbes in my clay soil of Utah!
