Contrary to what the picture above implies, poor parenting is not always a result of strict, careless, or mean parenting. Sometimes being overprotective, or overcaring can have bad reflections on the childrens’ personalities as they grow up. I am guilty of one or two of these mistakes and I should probably loosen up a little bit, but loving your kids and being afraid that they might come in harm’s way sometimes make you forget that they have to learn to depend on themselves.
