When you are a diabetic or on a low-sugar diet, it is important to know what food have high levels of sugar and what doesn’t. People assume that all fruits have high concentration of sugar in them because they taste sweet.
I was having a conversation this morning with my Type II diabetic mother and her Type I diabetic friend regarding the sugar content of fruit. I mistakenly, like a lot of people, thought all berries are high in sugar, but really, only blueberries are moderately high.
