Giving up my cast iron pan for this RV lifestyle was one of the hardest things I had to let go of. (In the end, keeping it wouldn’t have made much of a difference on the weight our trailer). I compromised by keeping a tiny one, about 6 inches, so that I can saute up my garlic and onions and mushrooms to add to other dishes.
