Unless you have a heart of stone, this will make you weep like a 3 year old girl:
My dog is 14 and slowly degrading. Matt thinks we should’ve pulled the trigger months ago. She’s got doggie dementia, is deaf and pretty much blind, but that dog will still run when I take her for a walk. Only in spurts, and not for long, but she runs. It’s so hard to be in the position as a human to decide when to end an old dog’s life, especially if no terminal illness is present. This video hit me especially hard because of my own circumstances, and because I know how loved this amazing search and rescue dog must have been and how difficult a decision to let the poor baby go over the rainbow bridge. Clearly, the pup has a hard time walking, but she IS walking. Anyway, if you’ve ever loved and let go of your animals, this one will certainly tug at your heart strings. This happened a few months ago, in case you missed it. I clearly did.
