Be warned that the pictures in the article below barely associate with the DIY tip listed. They are pretty, designer pictures, but aren’t a pictoral representation of the suggestion. However, these tips are quite good, many are new to me (some we’ve all probably heard of), and they get better as the post goes on.
The one I’m going to try? Using strong brewed coffee to cover up scratches in wood. I have a LOT of those in the second-hand furniture we bought, which looks brand new otherwise. One forgotten tip though is to use double sided tape on a rug to keep it from moving.
