I’ve never really understood why people were so obsessed with raking. Fallen leaves are one of the most beautiful fall phenomena. Is it because everyone feels it’s super important to expose their water-wasting lawns? Leaves decompose. And rather quickly. So leaving them where they lie is even better for your lawn anyway (I don’t know how some people might not know this).

This is great for your garden if you are not obsessed with your lawn, I have sandy soil, known for being poor in nutrients, but mixing the fallen leaves with it proved that it gave my plants a better environment to grow.
