I made a visit to A.C. Moore today looking for fun fall crafts to do with my toddler and made several passes down all the aisles ultimately a little disappointed with the options. Mostly because, everything is just manufactured, gleaming, made-in-China objects that cost more than it should.
The tutorial below instructs you to use craft store leaf garland for this DIY. I say, pish posh! Find yourself some freshly fallen, turned maple leaves, and they will work just as well. The glue will help preserve them. Plus, you can throw it away at the end of the season and have one less thing to store in your decoration bin! With a little glue and a balloon, you can use what nature provided this gorgeous time of year.
