Not everyone wants a real flame in their home. My mom has always had an irrational fear that a lit, unattended candle would suddenly make the whole house go up into flames. Hence we NEVER had candles. We did have a fireplace though. With glass doors. We didn’t use it for many years though. Personally, I love the warmth of a natural fire, whether from my fireplace, a fire pit or a small candle. I light something every day. But, they have to be replenished. It’s nice to have a fun little vignette, using a flameless firepit like the one above if you have kids or pets and would like to keep the ambiance rolling safely.
