Garlic is potent stuff, no doubt about it. I used to have no qualms about eating it quartered and raw when I came down with an illness. But that is super tough on the digestive tract and makes you pretty, well, garlicky, all around. I haven’t given this remedy a try yet, but after this week of eating my chicken soup/bone broth combo with loads of garlic, I’m willing to take a new, gentler approach. This post claims that the mixture is so powerful that it only necessary to take once a year (for 12 days). I fail to see how the benefits will last you an entire year, but I’m willing to play along and experiment!
