While I didn’t write the article below, I agree with the points. The number one tip for Craigslist shopping in my book, is to actually do it. Next time you think, “I can really use a new faucet for my sink,” or “Our living room could use an area rug,” check Craigslist first! You’d be really surprised how many people have brand new items that they didn’t want to return, couldn’t use, got a double of, etc, that they are selling for half the price of a retail store. If there’s anything that will save you money, it’s buying second hand. Forget couponing. Craigslist shopping is money in the bank!
