My husband said to me today, “Do you mind if I just pull out the chain link fence….and just leave it for a while?” Well, this is NOT the kind of mistake that the blog post below is referring to, but it is worth mentioning.
The Free Range Life discusses the problems associated with installing fencing. But there are also various problems with even removing them. Chain link is IN there. At least the posts are. So be prepared for some grunt work. Plus, we happen to live on a corner. And elevated above the street. Come spring time, I don’t want my toddler rolling down the hill if she plays in the backyard. Having a fence is a necessity for us, even if it’s ugly chain link. But putting up a new one has some challenges and key things to bear in mind, like property lines and post spacing.
