In the Buy Nothing Group I run in my neighborhood, someone posted that their cat had knocked over their aloe plant and he was giving away the “babies”. These “babies” are actually, offsets, or offshoots, of the main plant. I went to his apartment and took about 5 of these little offsets that had a small root system. I felt like I should already know what to do with this, but I did have to look it up. Aloe is one of those plants that keeps on giving. Not only can you regrow from an offset, but you can cut off a leave and grow a whole new plant from the leaf itself.
