I have been more than a little acquainted with Eastern medicine practices and acupuncture/acupressure concepts, but this is the first I’ve heard of using ice to stimulate a point. In fact, I did some digging and couldn’t find anything else about using ice in acupressure anywhere. The Feng Fu point does indeed seem to be an actual point and, though it doesn’t have any direct healing corollaries it is supposedly known for bringing the body back into balance. I am a big believer in the energy meridians and acupuncture as a legitimate healing method. This particular technique is contraindicated for pregnant women so I’m out! But if you try it (and there seems to be no harm in doing so unless you’re pregnant, schizophrenic or a pace-maker patient), please let us know if it works!
