I’m glad I just encountered the article below because I really had no idea that ginger, in high enough quantities, can sometimes cause uterine contractions—a no-no, obviously, if you are pregnant. Which I am. Even nature’s most beneficial gifts can come with their inherent risks. I just didn’t know ginger was one of them!
It just goes to show you, research your supplements and any particular alternative method you may use to improve your health. It may just bite you in the butt if you don’t! More on ginger contraindications in the link below.
