I received one of those mushroom logs for Christmas last year. Odd gift, perhaps, but it was on my list! There is now a little industry of prepared logs that have been treated with spores that are intended to be home cultivated. Unfortunately, I’ve had it for about two weeks now and it still isn’t fruiting any mushrooms. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, but it seems this indoor mushroom cultivation is a bit of a skilled art.
