Let’s talk about Valentine’s Day for just one second. It often gets criticized as a “Hallmark” holiday created with the intent to make profits. Let’s call a spade a spade here: They ALL are. In some way, someone is out there to profit off of every holiday. That doesn’t mean you have to buy in! And YES, we should all be letting our sweethearts know we love them EVERY day of the year. But, just like birthdays and anniversaries, it is nice to designate a special day to have fun with it. If you have kids, all the more reason. My daughter was obsessed with Christmas decorations this year! So I think she’ll appreciate another in-between holiday for which we can DIY decorate together.
There are some solid ideas here, and while there aren’t too many written directions, you can get the idea from the pictures. Get creative and don’t go overboard on supplies to get the V-day point across!
