Enjoy a simple yet effective recipe to create a drool worthy BBQ slow cooker pot roast for your family or your next get together with loved ones.
Ingredients1.5-2 lb Chuck Roast
2 bottles BBQ Sauce (whatever your favorite brand is)
2 tbsp. Liquid Smoke
1 Vidalia Onion, Sliced
Salt and Pepper
Instructions:Line your crock pot with a plastic liner.
Liberally salt and pepper the meat.
In the slow cooker, combine one bottle of the sauce and the liquid smoke.
Gently nestle the meat down in the sauce. Top with the onion slices.
Put the lid on the crock pot and cook for 10 hours on low.
When the meat is done, remove it carefully and shred it.
Strain the liquid and discard the chunks.
Pour the liquid back into the crock pot along with the second bottle of sauce.
Add the meat back in, and stir to combine.
Meat can be used for sandwiches or eaten alone.
