As a personal trainer, I’m often drawn to articles like these to see how much of it I agree with and how much I find to be misleading. I can concur with most of the info in this article, some of the bulleted headings are a little off the mark. “Carbs make you fat,” is not exactly what I would call a myth. Eating too many carbs and not enough of your other macronutrients WILL indeed make you gain weight. This is not to say everyone should cut ALL carbs out of their diet as this article will also agree with. But to eat the right ones. For me, from a paleo perspective, that would be rice, sweet potatoes, bananas, etc. Whole grain breads and foods (which I do eat because I want to!) should still be limited in my opinion.
