As a lifelong lover of all things nutty and chocoately and doused in caramel, it took me a long time to get on board with any “fruity” desserts. Key Lime Pie is what did it for me. The combination of graham cracker, tart lime, and sweet cream was so harmonious in my mouth I think I OD’ed on key lime pie for the next two years. I burned out on it completely, in fact, and don’t even consider it any more.
