We acquired a lovely desk for our thrift shop that would have been valuable, if not for the crack across the very top of it from split wood seams. We tried to think of ways to repair it, cover it, hide it, etc. and decided that a creative resurfacing was the answer. I love this idea, because it’s SO cheap, ridiculously easy and the finished product looks like aged leather—perfect for a desk! A paper bag, decoupage glue, and some black craft paint is all you need to achieve this awesome look. My Repurposed Life shows you how:
