If you are a parent, chances are good that you have a kid that will only sleep in the car. Or at least one that sleeps better in the car. I know too many people who will spend their afternoon chauffeuring their kid around town just for a moment of sanity. My first was actually the opposite for the first year of her life. She hated the car. But for the second year, it seemed sleep would only befall her in a moving vehicle.
It seems Ford has become wise to this phenomenon and has constructed a baby bed that simulates the movement and sounds and sights of a car. Check it out at TechCrunch:
