I know a lot of our readers have concealed carry permits and also are staunch defenders of gun ownership rights. I hope the same folks will read this article and support the benefits of using a tactical pen for self-defense, rather than carrying a loaded gun, when out and about. I believe we should all be prepared to protect ourselves, but by using a means that puts less risk to ourselves and to bystanders. This kind of “pen” is great because you can literally walk down the street with it. This is what I used to do with pepper spray, but guess what? Not everyone is affected by pepper spray!
