These are great ideas for off the grid living where you can produce your own electricity and manage your own septic. The 14 ideas include generating electricity, water filters, harvesting rainwater, and more.
There is one thing that I would add to those and that is, for greywater treatment you can turn that tank in the picture below into a biogas production system that you can use for cooking or heat water or even produce electricity. This works best though when you have animal manure and food waste to add to the generator to produce more biogas. we have written about this here.
