If you ever find yourself with a broken AC at your home you won’t need to suffer the hot weather. This is a DIY AC that can be made for under $50. The case is made from a thick walled Polystyrene box ( Styrofoam ) that is available in any big store like Walmart, relatively inexpensive, and a great alternative if you don’t want to destroy an expensive ice chest cooler.The fan is a 6 inch / 150mm diameter and the PVC elbow pipes are 2 inches/50mm diameters. The more ice surface area you expose the air to the better for cooling. This should also work as an outdoor cooler if you get a battery operated fan which is pretty cool!
