Here are two videos for those of you who are planning to leave for a few days or just want to have a self watering system so that they have to worry less about watering the plants. Both are best for container gardening. The first video is simple and doesn’t need any equipment other than a few plastic bottles. This System is good for up to 3 days an setup time is no more than 5 minutes. The second video is a more complicated system that is good for 7 days of self watering before you need to refill the container. If you like electronic DIY projects, this is a something you can try. You will need 2 probes, a water pump a relay switch and a container for the water.
