Your spine does not only hold the rest of your body parts together, it also contains the spinal cord which connects the nerves in your body to the brain. That’s why when you have a problem in your back you don’t necessarily feel the pain in the back, but it can be in the leg or the arm depending on where your spine is affected. I have a problem in my lower back but I feel the pain mostly in my leg. With a few exercises I am able to relieve the pain after a long day behind my desk or if I am not able to stretch for a while. Most of the time these exercises are effective but sometimes it’s probably better to relax. Mainly, if you feel pain trying to perform the exercises then you might want to relax first for a couple of days until you feel better.
