This video is the first of a series of tutorials about building a log cabin for free, but it’s really informative on how to pick your trees and how to start building a log cabin from available equipment. It is not easy by any means, especially in bad weather conditions. As you can see in the video he started working when the snow still didn’t melt yet. However, if you plan to do this some day like me, it really gives you an idea of what you are looking at in terms of effort and time.
