The most thing that I probably love when I order fries at a restaurant is that when you are expecting a normal dipping sauce to come with it and it turns out to be the best thing on your table that you want to ask the waiter for some of that sauce for takeaway. Whether it’s shrimp, calamari, or just plain french fries, a good sauce next to it really makes a difference, it even really gets down to the sauce if you are comparing two different dishes of fries. Here is one good recipe to get started with, I tried it and it’s really good, although I cheated and added more ketchup and less mayo. Let me know what you think!
Fry Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon season salt
