Before I was married whenever I see parents that have their kid tied to a rope, I would feel disgusted! I really hated the parents that did that, I felt like it is very humiliating to the child. Now, that I have two kids, I am just going to say that I get it. I still disagree with this method, but I get it. I am going to be honest, I sometimes even consider using them. My 3-year-old is very impulsive and never liked to hold hands or be carried while taking a walk. He has gotten much better at controlling himself but he still scares the heck out of me sometimes, mainly in crowded areas and on the sidewalk of a busy street. I really don’t want to use something that I considered immoral like child ‘leashes’, but I don’t want to see my kid get harmed, so I am open to your suggestions!
