You could be anywhere, and some jerk with a gun is going to try to take you out because of his mental health issues, or because of some misguided religious motivation. The truth is, this may be our new reality until something changes. Until then, we should know what to do if we are caught in such a horrific situation. The best insurance is being prepared!
In my opinion, I feel like we should start making information like this mainstream knowledge. I feel like we should all do our part to educate our kids on how to handle an active shooting or hostage situation because the last thing we want, is to be unprepared and paralyzed by fear. Read more here:
