Having plants inside our homes is a healthy thing to do. As we all know, when there is light, plants take in CO2 and produce oxygen. This clears our air and makes the environment healthier. However, during night time plants produce CO2 just like us, so we can’t risk having many plants in areas where we sleep. This may cause sleep discomfort and morning headaches, might even become a health issue in closed rooms with many plants.

So, if we are going to keep one plant in our bedrooms, it should be a plant that would help us get better sleep and get more relaxed mornings.

Plants like Aloe Vera and Lavender certainly helps us relax and get better sleep. However, I personally wouldn’t choose lavender because I would be sleeping 12 hours a day if that plant entered my home. But if you have sleep apnea then it may be worth a try.
