Having to move frequently, this is something I have been doing for a long time. I have grown all kinds of herbs, tomatoes, and once a pineapple plant. However, since they are not so easy to move I have not grown any trees indoors, but I can’t wait for the day that I can plant my first indoor citrus tree indoors. The article below mentions mandarins, but I know that you can also grow lemon trees indoors, thanks to grafting. So if you are living in cooler areas this is definitely an option for your sun room or kitchen counter.
