How to make a saw from the stationery knife

I saw this saw and I was thinking this is not practical. It isn’t strong enough to be able to saw through things with out breaking. Assuming the video here is not edited it did a surprisingly well job. A mini retractable metal-cutting saw that you can carry around in a survival kit or in your pocket can come in really handy. You can make this saw from an ordinary stationary knife.
