I am looking for coffee table options these days after my kids sabotaged the one we had. For them, it served multiple purposes; a diving board onto the couch, a blackboard to write on, a road for the toy cars, a drum, and a chair to sit on when watching TV. So if I buy a new coffee table I am not sure how long it will last especially that it’s not cheap to buy a new one. I am thinking either build something like the one in the picture above or salvaging the old coffee table and keep using it until they grow up a little.
