Usually, when you see something that is too good to be true, there is either a catch or it’s not true. In this article it’s the first case, there is a catch. There are states that offer land for free, but you have to build on them and they are in towns. Some of them don’t even allow chickens.
To me what that really means is it may be a place to retire in rather than start a life in. You live in a small town use your social security money for living the remaining years of your life in a small nice community where you have a peace of mind.
Don’t get me wrong, anything for free is usually good! Is it something you would like to have?
