I love reading the verbiage used in these old-timey life-hacks. One interesting aspect is that these “how-to’s” were found on cards published by the tobacco industry and inserted into packs of cigarettes! These cards are worth a lot today, and their advice? Priceless.t. Number 8 doesn’t seem to make sense but maybe someone who has done it can shed some light on the tutorial! Here you have it, a la Mental Floss:
