How to Clean Carpet Like a Pro
If you want to clean all carpeting first remove all old and stubborn stains. Vacuum the carpet several times and then rub with a concentrated solution of water and dishwashing detergent or shampoo.
The secret lies in adding vinegar to a solution of water and laundry detergent. If you don’t have laundry detergent you can use dishwasher soap or shampoo as it states in the link above.
