Getting a ring stuck on your finger has to be one of the worst feelings in the world. I personally have never had to experience this kind of thing (thankfully), but I know plenty of people who have! My fiance has even had it happen. We tried everything to get it off. Hot water, cold water, butter, oil, soap, and eventually we were able to get it off using the string method. While I wish we wouldn’t have had to use any method because the ring wasn’t stuck in the first place, the string was able to help quite well. We used a shoelace and it was wide enough that we didn’t have to wrap the finger 80 times in order to get it off. Not a bad plan when you’re in a bind!
