I’m sure you’ve had a holiday or two where you didn’t have everyone there that you wished could have made it. A child is too far away at college (although I would have always made a huge effort to come home, I know it isn’t always possible and that’s just reality), a family member is overseas in the military or you just want to make a soldier smile for Thanksgiving, or even just family that is too far away to make it to town for dinner.
