The only thing I like more than a tasty meal is an easy one. I grew up in an Italian-American household and was fed a LOT of pasta. I grew tired of it…except when it’s made into baked ziti. Not only is it easy and fairly quick to make, but it’s a sure hit for any party crowd and will lucky feed you for another two days.
Here is a best version of my homemade baked ziti. And btw, you can use any short pasta like penne, rotini, or even shells. Personally, I would omit the smoked paprika. It’s a strange addition to this recipe. But if you’ve got fresh basil, throw it into the prepared sauce by the handful! Enjoy!
